Hello Again,
My personal journey into Star Wars has been filled with a lot of fun experiences and meeting cool new people, as well as engaging me with my storyline to continue building my Sith Warrior character, and to continue striving to reach level 50 which is the current level cap.
I will start with the time commitment, which is nothing short of huge. The first 10 levels came pretty quickly, as I reached level 10 in the first day (6 hours of playing). After that first day, I have been playing about 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. In that time frame, I have managed to only get to level 32, and beat the first chapter for my character. I have been playing sometimes on the weekend days up to 7 or 8 hours, and I figure I must have put in at least 30 to 40 hours of game time and I still haven't reached all of the end game content; nowhere close in fact.
I think that after this class ends, I will still be playing this game and get to level 50. Not only that, but with the new legacy system they put in the game, I can have multiple characters on one server, and they can be related to the other characters, be best friends, or even married and carry the same last name. A in game family tree! It is a pretty innovative system that keeps me wanting to come back and excited to see what is offered next. You can check out the legacy system at legacy system for Star Wars MMO.
The main thing that shaped my experience and as to why I want to stay with the game is the fact that I want to see what happens to my character. The storytelling is very engaging and fresh. Then, when you couple that with the guild community that has taken me in, I feel at home. Even though online MMO gaming has never been a big thing for me and yet is something I am ready to get out and explore more. At the beginning of joining the Star Wars The Old Republic universe, I felt alone and kind of disconnected from everyone else playing the game, but I was at peace with that. Now that I have found a guild with a bunch of great members that loner mentality has been flushed down the drain.
I'll leave you with a picture of an example of what the legacy family tree looks like.
Cheers!

Your blog draws me in and makes me want to start playing this game! It sounds very intriguing, though I don't think I would have the time to put in so many hours. Good Post, and best of luck making it to level 50!!!
