My experience with Reddit

My experience with Reddit can be summed up as addicting.  I have the app on my phone so i can brows through the funny pictures and give them the "up-votes" or "down-votes" depending on how hard i laugh.  One of the things that makes the Reddit experience even more exciting is that there is lots of sub-categories where people can post things of their particular interests.  For instance i stumbled upon  /r/justiceporn.  It contains videos where people are getting "justice".  For example there were three guys wielding knives and trying to rob a man when a purse wielding grandmother starts beating on the robbers with nothing more than her purse.... and the robbers ran away.

My frequency of usage is easily rated at a minimum of one hour a day, with the average on the weekends of about three or more hours a day.  I find myself browsing the most when i happen to be bored because it is an easy time filler, but you must be warned that time will speed up while browsing the site.  One minute you will look at your watch and it will be 4:00pm, then "ten minutes later" you will look at your watch and it will already be 5:30pm.  I call this phenomenon "Reddit time traveling".

The likelihood of continuing to be a member of the community is extremely high, it can almost be summed up as a "sure thing".  Unless the format of the site drastically changes, then i will continue to be member for the foreseeable future (at least two years, possibly longer).

What shaped my experience with Reddit is my overwhelming need for instant amusement.  If i can spend at least twenty minutes a day laughing at the humorous videos and other people's misfortune, then i am a happy man.
